CBFC Removes a Scene and Mutes Dialogues in Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh & Aftab Shivdasani’s ‘Mastiii 4’

The upcoming comedy film Mastiii 4, featuring Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani, has recently been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an “A” certificate. The film received its certificate after the makers agreed to make a few changes suggested by the board.

As per reports, the CBFC asked the team to remove a nine-second scene that showed an animal-related visual, which the board found inappropriate. Another close-up shot, around 30 seconds long, was also trimmed to meet the certification guidelines. Along with visual edits, a few dialogues were modified as well. Certain words were muted or replaced to ensure that the film fits the adult-comedy category without crossing CBFC restrictions. For example, one dialogue containing the word “behen” was changed, another line using the word “item” was replaced, and an alcohol brand name mentioned in the film was altered.

Mastiii 4 marks the return of Aftab Shivdasani to films after nearly six years. The beloved trio from the earlier Masti franchise reunites once again, bringing their signature style of mischievous comedy. The movie also stars Elnaaz Norouzi, Shreya Sharma and Ruhi Singh in important roles. Fans will also get to see fun cameos by Genelia D’Souza, Arshad Warsi and Nargis Fakhri.

With these changes now completed, the film is set for release on 21 November. The franchise has always been known for its bold humour, and viewers are excited to see how Mastiii 4 balances fun, freshness and entertainment while staying within CBFC guidelines.
